My Year With Helen was invited to the DMZDocs International Film Festival in Korea. It screens on Sept 17 in the “The Best Documentary Of My Life 10” section which consists of the film recommended by an opinion leader in Korea. Sangjeong SIM - one of the most renowned politicians of S. Korea, former representative of the Justice Party - selected My Year With Helen. DMZ Docs, held near a politically sensitive buffer zone, Korean Demilitarized Zone between North and South Korea, has been showcasing a variety of influential films focusing mainly on the themes of peace, coexistence, and communication.
